Steve Haberly is President of Chem-Aqua, Inc. Steve has a Bachelor and Master of Science from Oklahoma State University and a Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. He has over 36 years of experience in the water treatment industry. Under his direction, Steve’s leadership has been instrumental in developing a 250 million dollar water treatment company.
Mr. Haberly has been leading by example for years as a corporate leader and as a mentor. His inspirational speaking style will be uplifting and beneficial to students and leaders alike.
Dr. Tedd L. Mitchell
Dr. Tedd L. Mitchell, President of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center

Before becoming the eighth President of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Mitchell served as president and chief executive officer of Cooper Clinic in Dallas and McKinney, an internationally recognized center of excellence in preventive medicine.
He is the contributing health editor and a weekly columnist for USA Weekend. Mitchell’s love of writing has led to collaborative efforts with other health experts, culminating in the publication of the books Fit to Lead (2004 St. Martin’s press) and Move Yourself (2008 Wiley Press).
He also has enjoyed a role in developing public policy regarding health and fitness by serving on the President’s Council for Physical Fitness and Sports .
Mitchell is married to Dr. Janet Tornelli-Mitchell. They met while in medical school, and have worked together since. They have three children, Katherine, Charlie and Chris.

Mrs. Murray has an inspirational personal story, a love for Tech Tech, and a calling to make the place she calls home better for us all. Murray Hall on campus is name after Dr, Murray in honor of his contributions to Texas Tech.

M. Duane Nellis is an American educator currently serving as the 16th president of Texas Tech University. He was previously president of the University of Idaho, and provost and senior vice president at Kansas State University, and professor of geography.
