It's getting chilly in Lubbock now that it's December. On campus, you can feel the holiday spirit from the moment the lights start going up for Carol of the Lights. With Christmas decor on our doors and on our clothes and Spotify playlists ringing out carols, we decided to share a holiday mixtape to put some songs into your season. From classic to modern, our scholar picks bring an assortment of yuletide jams to make your spirits bright.

We are so glad that so many scholars were able to join us at the Sarchet's Barn for some s'mores and some more fun! It was absolutely terri-riffic!
For an end-of-the-year get together, Terry's gathered at the park for a bout 30 minutes until the thunder started and the sprinkles came. Quick thinking and great help, moved the cookout to The Avenue apartments. It was a great location and the fun continued.
Everyone brought sides and drinks - and lots of desserts! It was a treat.
Tonight Chef Dewey from Texas Tech Hospitality treated Tech Terry Scholars to an amazing demonstration of 4 different fantastic hors d'oeuvres, each one amazing and unique. It is always so enjoyable to learn new and delicious things outside of the classroom.
Spending Sunday afternoon at Elite Paintball was awesome! We had so much fun.
The final Tech Terry Student Organization of the year was a HUGE success. We met a few of the incoming freshmen who live close by, we took photos with the most interesting man in the world, and we talked about all of the work we have coming up in the next two weeks before finals.
We also took some time to reflect. It was a good year to be a Terry Scholar. It was a good year to give back to Bayless Elementary, to the Relay for Life, and to the State-Wide Service Project. It was also a good year to give back to each other. It was a good year to support each other through the loss of family and friends, through changing dreams, and missed opportunities. It was a good year to celebrate with each other too - in awards and honors, weddings and children, and now with new incoming scholars and a class of graduating scholars. It was a good year to make some amazing memories that will certainly change who we are and maybe even who we become.
